THE GLOBALG.A.P. WORLD CONSULTATION TOUR
What is the World Consultation Tour?
The World Consultation Tour is GLOBALG.A.P.’s way of connecting with stakeholders to seek their feedback on the newest revision of GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA). The tour is made up of a series of 90-minute online meetings on specialized topics, hosted by GLOBALG.A.P. experts. As part of the public consultation phase, the WCT meetings give you the chance to speak to GLOBALG.A.P. directly and offer your input. Help us to ensure IFA version 6 is fit for use!
The WCT is split into two rounds, each beginning with the simultaneous release of the draft documents for public consultation.
What happened in round one?
In round one, stakeholders discussed the initial draft of the IFA standard version 6 and submitted their feedback. We received a record amount of feedback so far, thanks to:
Having gathered all this feedback, technical committees went back to the drawing board to create a second draft. They incorporated as much of the input as they could.
What happens in round two?
The second drafts are now being released for the second phase of public consultation. Those stakeholders who took part in round one can now check back in to see what has changed in the new draft and offer new feedback on the latest draft. Stakeholders who did not submit comments in round one still have the chance to have their say on version 6 using the newest draft.
How you can get involved:
Round two of the World Consultation Tour begins in December and will run into early 2021. Sign up to a session now to have your say!
Do not hesitate to contact us at event@globalgap.org with your questions.

World Consultation Tour FAQ
An important part of the revision process for version 6 is the collection feedback from our stakeholders. This feedback is collected via the submission of written comments, or via public consultation periods which are planned into the revision timeline. Click here to see a visual timeline.
The more input we receive from you, our network of stakeholders, the more widely we can discuss changes and the better we can design version 6 to meet your needs. The World Consultation Tour specifically offers the advantage of communication in real time, as an open dialogue between you and GLOBALG.A.P.
To allow us to address the smaller details, each World Consultation Tour meeting will focus on different scopes and topics. On this page you can find a complete list of all the available dates and meetings. Make sure to choose the meeting relevant for you. You can register by clicking on the meeting name. Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation e-mail and you will receive the meeting link up to one day before the event. Then all you need to do is make sure you have a good internet connection and your feedback notes to hand.
Discussions will be based on the latest draft for public consultation which can be found on this page. Please take a look at this in advance.
We welcome all types of feedback! If you are unable to take part in a live WCT session you can still submit feedback in further ways:
1. Comment on the draft documents via the link on this page
2. E-mail your written feedback to publiccomments@globalgap.org.
3. Volunteer to participate in the field trials that will be set up to test the auditability of the standard.
The newest draft documents have now been released. This means that round two will feature discussions on new topics and might require new solutions. If you took part in round one, check back in to see what has changed in the newest draft version and whether you have more feedback to give!
