Andras Fekete

Vice President / Chief Integrity Officer

Throughout 2021, the global pandemic continued to push businesses to adapt their operations. Such disruption and change make transparency more essential than ever.

Despite the challenges of the last year, GLOBALG.A.P. has put forward new solutions that ensure our quality continues to meet the high expectations that we have set for over two decades. One example of this was the successful rollout of remote audits through the GLOBALG.A.P. Remote procedure – a solution for which we were recognized as a TOP100 Innovator in Germany for 2021.

At the same time, the development of new standards, the enhancement of IT systems, and the conception of our smart farm assurance solutions strategy all highlight our ongoing work in strengthening the safe and consistent delivery of GLOBALG.A.P. standards around the globe.

We are emerging from this turbulent period as a smarter and more resilient organization. In this report, you can discover more about the activities and highlights of the Integrity Program in 2021.

About the Integrity Program

The Integrity Program, the first of its kind in food certification, has been closely monitoring GLOBALG.A.P. approved certification bodies and their activities since 2008.

With over 2000 auditors working for more than 189 accredited certification bodies certifying over 600 products and more than 200,000 producers spread across 135 countries on 5 continents, keeping the confidence of our stakeholders is our top priority.

The Integrity Program is designed to ensure the consistent delivery and implementation of GLOBALG.A.P. standards worldwide. It also acts as a feedback mechanism serving the continuous improvement of the GLOBALG.A.P. system in all its aspects.
