GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR 2019
Each year GLOBALG.A.P. embarks on a tour to visit different countries and examine GLOBALG.A.P. standards on the ground. TOUR stops generally take the form of a one to two-day conference organized in conjunction with a local, national, or regional host.

Anuga 2019 – Cooperation Announced with Sustainable Rice Platform
GLOBALG.A.P. and the Sustainable Rice Platform launched an exciting new partnership at the Anuga trade fair 2019. The Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP) was established in 2011 and is co-convened by the UN Environment Programme and the International Rice Research Institute. Their intention is to promote sustainability and research efficiency in the global rice trade sector.
Starting in 2020, GLOBALG.A.P. will manage the SRP Assurance Scheme and allow SRP verified farms to be registered in the GLOBALG.A.P. database.
The live launch at ANUGA 2019 also included a reception at the GLOBALG.A.P. trade fair booth, where visitors received a free sample of verified sustainable rice.
GLOBALG.A.P.’s Responsible Water Use Campaign at Fruit Logistica 2019
Although GLOBALG.A.P. did not have its own exhibition stand at Fruit Logistica in 2019, it was no less visible thanks to a widespread awareness-raising campaign for the GLOBALG.A.P. SPRING add-on.
GLOBALG.A.P. branded water dispensers were installed at various member/partner booths, along with re-fillable water bottles bearing a QR code that opens the SPRING add-on webpage. A GLOBALG.A.P. expert was available nearby each water dispenser to answer questions about all our products and services.
