GGN CONSUMER LABELS
The GGN Label
The GGN label is GLOBALG.A.P's consumer label.Â
The GGN label for certified aquaculture was launched in 2016, with the GGN label for certified floriculture following in 2017.Â
To apply a GGN label to packaging, producers/processors must have GLOBALG.A.P. IFA certification (or an equivalent benchmarked scheme), Chain of Custody certification, and achieve full compliance with the GRASP add-on.
The GGN Label Portal
Transparency is at the heart of the label. Thanks to the 13 digit GGN number printed on the packaging, consumers can discover the roots of their food and plants on our GGN.org portal.
GGN Label Pilot Schemes
The GGN labels for Agriculture and for Livestock are currently in the pilot phase and data cannot yet be published.
